Jamie Paterson’s stoppage-time winner saw Coventry City climb back into the Championship play-off places following a dramatic 1-0 victory over Portsmouth.
After sixth-placed Middlesbrough were beaten by table-topping Leeds United on Tuesday, Frank Lampard’s side had the opportunity to leapfrog Boro.
Although it looked like the opportunity was set to them by, following a frustrating evening at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
However, in the 94th minute, Jack Rudoni’s cross was volleyed in by Paterson to send Lampard and the home faithful into ecstasy.

Elsewhere, Paterson’s former club Swansea City heaped further pressure on bottom side Plymouth Argyle with a 3-0 victory in south Wales.
The damage was done during the opening 35 minutes at the Swansea.com Stadium, as the visitors remain five points adrift of safety with five matches remaining.
A pair of headers from Lewis O’Brien and Harry Darling put the Swans in control, while Josh Key’s long-range strike put the contest well beyond the Pilgrims.
In the process, Alan Sheehan’s side eased their own relegation fears by moving nine points clear of the bottom three.
BIG. BIG.
