Arsenal sign Portuguese youngster

English side Arsenal have signed Portuguese midfielder Amaury Bischoff. The youngster will be making his move from Werder Bremen in .

Bischoff, currently 21 years old, was born in and received most of its youth training at SR Colmar and Strasbourg before ing Bundesliga side Werder Bremen in 2005.

It took until the past season for the player to get in action for Werder, being subbed on in the 74th minute of a UEFA Cup match with Celta de Vigo.

Earlier this month, Bischoff announced his departure from Werder and not much later, he revealed that a transfer to Arsenal was likely.

Although having played for ’s U-28 team, Bischoff later opted to represent the Portuguese Under-21 team.
