Bayern unveil new four-wheeled g

Bayern Munich have revealed their biggest g so far this season – a new luxury bus costing half a million euros that will drive them to and fro the country's Bundesliga stadiums.

Complete with four plasma television screens transmitting every possible channel, DVD players and internet access, the players can hardly complain of being bored during their trip.

And while they are rounding off their league match at Cologne on Saturday, the driver of the shiny black pullman – Sandra Konig – will be busy preparing a post-game snack in the bus's integrated kitchen.

Pushing the comfort levels to the max, the hi-tech lighting set-up in the bus allows players to relax even further – and the ceiling has been transformed to look like the night sky.

It's all been designed, says team manager Uli Hoeness, to help spur the players on to victory.

“This bus is an important addition when it comes to helping the team to win,” said Hoeness.

“The more relaxed they are when they arrive at the stadium, the better our chances of performing well.”

Bayern, 's biggest club, has been comparatively quiet on the transfer market this summer, g Tim Borowski from Werder Bremen and taking Massimo Oddo on loan from AC Milan.

Ahead of their luxury trip to Cologne Saturday, Bayern sit seventh in the table on five points after three games.
