Burnley about to sign James Trafford from Manchester City

Burnley are on the verge of g James Trafford from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Burnley, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship, has agreed a deal with City for Trafford.

Burnley, now managed by former City central defender Vincent Kompany, will pay the Citizens £14 million in transfer fees for Trafford, plus £5m in performance related add-ons. The 20-year-old goalkeeper spent the past 18 months on loan at Bolton Wanderers from City.

Trafford is part of the England Under-21 national team at the moment and is a hugely promising goalkeeper. Ederson is the number one goalkeeper at City at the moment. The Brazil international is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and it is unlikely that Trafford would have the chance to get into the City starting lineup ahead of him.
