Chelsea want to sign Barcelona defender Jules Kounde

Chelsea are interested in g Jules Kounde from Barcelona, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Chelsea could make an offer of as much as €65 million in transfer fees for Kounde.

Kounde is a very good defender who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back. The 25-year-old international has scored one goal and given one assist in 10 starts and two substitute appearances in La Liga and has provided three assists in four UEFA Champions League games for Barca so far this season.

Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from 10 matches, seven points behind leaders Liverpool. Meanwhile, Barcelona currently find themselves at the top of the La Liga table with 33 points from 12 matches, nine points ahead of second-placed and bitter rivals Real Madrid. The defender scored one goal and gave two assists in 32 starts and three substitute appearances in La Liga for Barcelona in the 2023-24 campaign.
