De Bruyne to choose between Napoli and Chicago Fire after Manchester City exit

According to Fabrizio Romano, Kevin De Bruyne has two options on his table after confirming his departure from Manchester City. The Belgian veteran playmaker has been in talks with Napoli over the past few days, and he’s still considering a contract offer from Chicago Fire as well.

Speaking about the prospects for his near future, De Bruyne has made it clear he believes he can still play at the highest level, indicating a preference to continue playing in one of Europe’s top leagues, but no decision has been made as of yet.

De Bruyne has been at City for almost a full decade, having ed the Premier League side from Wolfsburg in August, 2015, for a fee of around £70million. In all competitions, he’s made a total of 421 appearances for the Sky-Blues, scoring 108 goals and contributing 177 assists, establishing himself as one of the most creative players on the planet along the way.
