Dynamo delighted with Conference title

Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear was delighted with their Western Conference regular season title.

The Dynamo won the match after defeating the Los Angeles Galaxy 3-0.

“I’m very proud of this team for their climb through the Western Conference, and I’m also proud because now we are tied with Chicago with the least number of goals allowed,” Kinnear said.

“We’ve had a really excellent second half to the season, but we still have some work to do. I’m really happy for the team for the work they have put in because to be the Western Conference champions is a great achievement.”

Dynamo forward Brad Davis added: “This is the kind of game that this team lives for. That is a team right there that has to win this game to have a chance at advancing. Through the first half, we came out, and they didn’t have a chance at doing that. We did everything that we needed to do. We finished our chances. We played hard.”
