Liverpool have completed a deal to sign highly-rated goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from Hungarian side Puskas Akademia.
Pecsi is a Hungary Under-21 international and was a nominee for the 2025 Golden Boy award.
The 20-year-old made 30 appearances for Puskas last season, keeping nine clean sheets in the Hungarian top flight as his team finished second.
His arrival at Anfield follows the departure of the Reds’ former number two Caoimhin Kelleher, who signed for Brentford earlier this month.
Valencia keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili will also the club in July to compete for the number one shirt, alongside established first choice Alisson Becker.

It marks the second g of the summer window for the Premier League champions, having already welcomed Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong earlier this month.
Arne Slot’s team are also aiming to complete a deal for Florian Wirtz, with Liverpool reportedly submitting an improved £113million bid for the international.
The Reds are also linked with a move for Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez as they aim to provide competition for Andy Robertson at left-back.
