Liverpool target Celtic forward Daizen Maeda

Liverpool are among the clubs interested in g Daizen Maeda from Celtic in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The report has claimed that Arsenal, Leeds United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also been monitoring the Japan international forward with a view to a summer move.

Maeda has been on the books of Celtic since 2022 when he ed from Yokohama F. Marinos after a loan spell from the Japanese club. The 27-year-old forward has scored 62 goals and given 27 assists in 154 appearances for the Hoops so far in his career. Maeda has scored 33 goals and given 11 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers’s side so far this season.

Liverpool have already won the Premier League title this season in Arne Slot’s first season in charge. Meanwhile, Celtic have become the champions of Scotland yet again as they won the Scottish Premiership title with ease.
