According to The Athletic, Manchester United might make a move to try and secure a loan transfer of Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku if Marcus Rashford leaves the club this month.
Rashford has been a target for a number of clubs, including the likes of Milan, Napoli, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain, but at the moment, Barcelona appear to be leading the race for his services on a temporary deal, with United unwilling to sanction a permanent sale or a loan with an option to buy this month.
Nkunku is in a similar situation at Chelsea as that of Rashford at United, with manager Enzo Maresca not trusting him enough to name him in the starting XI in more than three Premier League games this season so far. Therefore, the 27-year-old attacker is very keen to prove himself elsewhere, and he’s apparently open to the idea of moving to Old Trafford.
