Thomas Muller hinted he wants to continue his career elsewhere, after playing his final Bundesliga match for Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Muller, who confirmed last month he would leave Bayern at the end of the season, started their 4-0 win over Hoffenheim, and received a huge ovation when he was replaced by Harry Kane just after the hour mark at PreZero Arena.
Since his debut for the club in 2008, Muller scored 150 goals and provided 211 assists in Bundesliga, while winning a record 13 titles and racking up 503 appearances.
The 35-year-old will feature for Bayern in the Club World Cup in the United States, before making any decision on his playing future.
“I’ll take my time. I’m not stressed, but I still want to keep playing football,” he told Sky . “I have a list of things I’m working through. The overall package has to be right for me.
“For today, tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow, I know exactly what I’m planning. After that, it’s still up in the air.”
