Newcastle United want to sign Inter Milan left-back Federico Dimarco

Newcastle United are interested in g Federico Dimarco from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Premier League club Newcastle have approached Serie A outfit Inter and have asked them how much it would cost to sign Dimarco.

Dimarco is one of the best left-backs in Serie A and has played 10 times for the Italy national football team. The 25-year-old has been on the books of Inter since 2018. The Italian was on loan at Parma in 2018-19 and at Hellas Verona in 2020-21.

Last season, Dimarco made 26 starts and seven substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter. The 25-year-old scored four goals and gave three assists in those games. The Inter no. 32 also made 10 starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League, providing five assists in those games. The Nerazzurri reached the final of the UEFA Champions League last season.
