Heading out of the tunnel for a Spain training session for the first time since voting in for the Catalan independence, Gerard Pique was subjected to loud abuse from the Spanish ers.
The fans continued to hassle the Barcelona defender throughout the training with banners saying ‘Pique Out’ visible on the stands.
The ers were also heard shouting ‘Pique, a******e, Spain is your country’ and ‘Leave the national teams’, whereas the fans also threw various objects towards Pique on his way out of the stadium.
