Having taken the lead against Cagliari in the 26th minute through Nikola Krstovic, Lecce held out to win 1-0 despite playing the entire second half with 10 men after winger Patrick Dorgu earned a red card.

Goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone certainly did his part to help his team emerge from the game with three points.
